Story in the Glass

This window depicts St. Thomas of Canterbury, bishop and martyr. He was a great friend of King Henry II, but they clashed over the rights of the Church.  St. Thomas was martyred in Canterbury Cathedral in 1170.  His feast day is December 29.

Whoever loses his life for my sake and gospel, says the Lord, will save it. Mark 8:25

Story of the Glass

This window was created in 1880, probably manufactured by a German studio.  It was a gift of Rev. T. B. McNulty.

The window is located in the north nave.
