Story in the Glass

This window depicts Saint Magdalene, who became a follower of Jesus and has been the classic example of the repentant sinner from earliest times.  She came from Magdala on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee.  She had seven demons cast our of her by Jesus and ministered to him in Galilee.  Present at Calvary, she was the first to inform the apostles that the tomb was empty.  Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene on Easter.   Her feast day is July 22.

Mary Magdalene went and said to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord" John 20:18

Story of the Glass

This window was created around 1880, probably manufactured by a German studio.  It was a gift in memory of Samuel J. and Nora F. Sullivan.

The window is located in the south nave.
