Please use the links below to visit the CSF website for complete information. The Catholic Schools Foundation, Inc. (CSF) was established to provide tuition assistance to needy students attending Roman Catholic primary and secondary schools throughout the Archdiocese of Boston. These scholarships are awarded regardless of race, religion, gender, or national origin. CSF supports the educational mission of the Church, while funding programs and services that ensure optimal educational opportunities. The Foundation is committed to serving students, particularly in communities with widespread poverty. The Young Professionals' Team (YPT) is a volunteer opportunity for young business professionals to get involved in the efforts of the Catholic Schools Foundation. Its fundamental purpose is to enrich the educational experience of Catholic school students by bridging the gap between the classroom and the workplace. Its members demonstrate to the students how a solid education can positively influence their future careers. YPT activities include Industry Tour's, the Speakers' Bureau, and the Tutoring Program. Additionally, each spring YPT holds a fundraising event to recruit new members and to raise money for the ICSF. Contributions to the Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF) are really investments in the future of our youth. Since its inception in 1991, nearly 35,000 students have benefited from over $25 million raised by the ICSF for financial aid to students. For the 2001-2002 school year, more than 700 individuals, corporations, and foundations contributed $4.5 million providing scholarships to over 4,600 needy children. These scholarships help to reach at-risk children at an early age and provided them with a positive experience during a very critical time in their schooling. |
