January 30, 2008 - Labels Are For Jars Lenten Program
Labels Are For Jars, the anti-hunger organization that has enjoyed wide support from throughout the Archdiocese in supporting the Cor Unum Meal Center in Lawrence, has launched its annual Lent program.
The Labels Lent program includes an information sheet that explains Labels and Lent, with a cut-off label that people may attach to jars for their almsgiving during Lent, as well as a very fine a day-by-day Lent Guide, which includes scripture passages and reflections for each day of Lent.
