Cardinal Seán : "We are blessed by the news of the plans for Pope Benedict's visit to the United States next spring.
As the Pope travels to New York and Washington, DC, we pray that his presence will inspire unity among the Catholics of this country and a renewed solidarity with the universal Church.
It is our fervent prayer that the Holy Father's visit to the United Nations will further the cause of peace throughout the world, especially in the Middle East.
We extend warm wishes to the Holy Father for a safe and faith-filled journey in April of 2008."
