March 1, 2007 - Update to Boston to FOX 25 Boston Story Concerning the Catholic Cemetery Association

In recent days a representative of the Archdiocese met with counsel for the Keavy family, regarding the family's request to open the grave of their beloved deceased. In accord with the Archdiocese's wish to assist the family with their concerns, the Keavy family gravesite will be opened for inspection if the family approves such a request. Archdiocesan representatives, including a member of the clergy, will be available to meet with the Keavy family to discuss the process, offer pastoral support, and answer all questions as thoroughly as possible.

At this time, care for the relatives of those deceased members of the Keavy family who are buried at Holy Cross cemetery in Malden is paramount. The Archdiocese will provide the family the assurance that their loved ones will rest in peace at Holy Cross, in a dignified and respectful manner.
