January 31, 2007 - Statement of the Archdiocese of Boston regarding a complaint filed by a former employee within the Caritas Christi Health Care System
(Brighton, MA) January 31, 2007 - The Archdiocese of Boston today released the following statement regarding a complaint filed by a former employee within the Caritas Christi Health Care System naming several individuals and entities including Cardinal Seán P. O'Malley:
"The Archdiocese of Boston is aware of the complaint filed with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. The parties named are working with the Commission to respond to this matter. The Cardinal has no personal knowledge of the November 2005 incident alleged in the complaint. The Cardinal reiterates his commitment to providing all employees with a safe and appropriate workplace that is free of harassment.
