Regarding Archbishop Seán O’Malley
As the result of a recent medical evaluation and at the recommendation of his
physician at Caritas St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center (CSEMC), the Most
Reverend Seán Patrick O’Malley, Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese
of Boston, underwent routine testing for an acute inner ear infection yesterday.
The Archbishop was admitted and is in good condition and currently resting
comfortably at the hospital. He expects to resume his normal schedule on Monday.
