His Eminence Cardinal Law celebrates Mass with Priests and Deacons of the Archdiocese joined by members of the faithful for those lives lost on September 11, 2001

His Eminence Bernard Cardinal Law will celebrate Mass at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, 1400 Washington Street, Boston at 1:00 PM on September 11, 2002 with priests and deacons of the Archdiocese of Boston and joined by members of the faithful for the repose of the souls of all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, for the consolation of their loved ones and to implore God's blessing on our nation and the world. The public is invited to attend the Mass to prayerfully honor the memory of those who were lost and to console and support one another.

As an additional sign to recall in a solemn way the tragedy of September 11, 2001 parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Boston have been asked to join with other churches and groups in tolling bells at 12:00 noon until 12:11 p.m. on September 11, 2002.

Earlier in the day, His Eminence Cardinal Law will join with religious leaders from the Protestant, Orthodox, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist and Sikh communities at 8:15 a.m. at Boston City Hall Plaza for prayer and reflection.
