Morrissey, Spokeswoman, Archdiocese of Boston April 26, 2002The reports in the media today, quoting unnamed sources, regarding a potential Vatican post for His Eminence Cardinal Law are without substance, groundless, and appear to be pure uncorroborated speculation. Cardinal Law has had no discussions regarding a Vatican post with officials of the Holy See. In regards to the upcoming deposition on June 5, 2002, Cardinal Law fully intends to go forward with the deposition. |
