Campaign for Catholic Schools

Watch our four minute video about the exciting transformation
happening in our Catholic schools

The Campaign for Catholic Schools was organized in December 2007 as an outgrowth of the 2010 Initiative to raise the funds needed to carry out the plan for the new model for Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Boston. The Campaign is led by Jack Connors, Jr., Chairman Emeritus and a Founding Partner of Boston advertising agency Hill, Holliday, Connors Cosmopulos, Inc., and John F. Fish, President and Chief Executive Officer, of Suffolk Construction, Boston.

A special feature of the Campaign for Catholic Schools is that the operational budget of Campaign for Catholic Schools is funded completely through private philanthropy. 100% of gifts made to the Campaign go directly to support the schools.

Building on the success of the establishment of Trinity Catholic Academy in Brockton , our current focus is to raise major support to enhance many more Catholic school systems in Greater Boston as designated by the 2010 Initiative.

Our current priorities are:

  • $64M to establish the new, five-campus Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy serving Dorchester/Mattapan
  • $4M to completely renovate and enhance the programs of the Catholic Charities Teen Center at St. Peter in Dorchester
  • $4.5 million to renovate and upgrade St. Ann School in Gloucester

Additional Catholic schools projects are being identified for future funding. If you'd like to make a gift to advance Catholic education in the Archdiocese or would like more information, please visit our website at http://www.campaignforcatholicschools.org or we welcome your call at 617-262-5600.
