The Office for Child Advocacy, Implementation and Oversight
(current activities)
The Office for Child Advocacy, Implementation and Oversight will oversee
the implementation of the safe environment programs instituted by the Archdiocese.
The Office is also responsible for assessing the implementation of these Policies
and Procedures and reporting the results to the Archbishop.
The Secretary of the Office for Child Advocacy, Implementation and Oversight
is responsible for overseeing the safe environment programs in parishes, schools,
and other archdiocesan institutions; coordinating the efforts of various archdiocesan
offices relative to the policies and procedures for prevention and education;
developing, distributing, and collecting instruments to assess the implementation
of these Policies and Procedures and to make reports to the Archbishop
and the USCCB; assisting the Review Board in the review of these Policies
and Procedures; communicating with the United States Conference of Catholic
Bishops and public authorities.
